So what have I been reading?!?!

Came up, it was a made up story. Of 5 friends, and their loyalty? And a princess doesn't exist? What was history is now fiction. Like those story books you can get in book stores.

How can a country go wrong on its history which built the present state it is now? I HAVE NO IDEA.

With all these reviewing of text and probability of changing the syllabus, what we all previously learnt can be flushed down the bowl. How frustrating that is!

On another frustrating note as well, coming back to UK wasn't pleasant.

I have to say my good-byes' to loved ones, had to leave the sunny weather, awesome food, and everything nice, just to reach to a cold, chilly, snowy UK.

Eigth day into 2012

Was very blessed indeed to be part of the church community I'm at now.

Just two months ago, I was fretting about my Visa application, afraid that I wouldn't be able to stay on. On Poppy Sunday, we're given a white and red poppy each, and was told to write down what we want to pray for, who we want to pray, anything that needs praying for. Adamantly, I wrote 'Approval of visa application'. Just a week before that, I called up UKBA and was told it would take a maximum of 6 months in some cases for approval due to the high number of cases. Six days after I wrote what I wanted, a letter came in for me.

I ran up to my room, tear open the envelope and read the first line:

APPROVAL OF YOUR VISA APPLICATION

I read again and again. This is real! I jumped in front of my laptop, skyped with my dad and we were all overjoyed.

Gratitude of thankfulness, kindness and consistent prayers, everyone who has prayed for me, inked deep within me. I can never thank you enough, so you're in my prayers now, that GOD's blessing will be upon you, abundantly.

Breaking Dawn

Have you hit the cinema for BREAKING DAWN?

Oh was I excited! Not because I'm a die hard fan but because I've been to every single one so I don't want to be left out =P

It was as it is in the book. Except for exceptionally long love scenes. Like for about half an hour. ALL love scenes. No good..S------L------O------W.

But overall it was really good. It ended at the right place and time so I'm not left hanging with lingering feelings and excitement for the next part which is not due anytime soon!

Took time to curl me hair today since mummy complaining of me not using the straightener =.=

Oh excuse the puffiness of my cheeks =(

And them 2 new colour I've bought. Tried on both and they're quite good for 1 pound nail polish!

Tissue experience

First time, I opened up a new one and placed it in the toilet. My next visit to the toilet, guess what. No toilet roll in sight. NIL. The whole tissue roll vanished. Culprit? Tsk, need me say more.

Second time, I've used half before taking it to the toilet. I didn't intend to take it back to my room, and also partly because I forgot. I came back later the day to find the remains of my toilet roll is the few last pieces sticking to the brown paper roll. Half all gone in 12 hours. Pissed me off.

Is toilet roll that expensive?

Is it too heavy to buy and bring it back?

Can you only use others toilet roll?

Do you not have brains to use considerately given that it's not yours?

OI, parents no teach ah, teacher no teach ah..don't take people's thing without permission!

It's not even yours, and how could you use half a roll in that short period of time!

Hm, maybe because my toilet paper has puppy print on it.

Hiya, I know I've been late but better late than never! So you must be thinking what happened to my 8 days dead blog hm?

Oh well, it's just been really busy. Really tiring. Really stressed. And all the bullshits happening all at once.

So I was away for my 2-study day at St Albans. I've never woke up this early, 5.30am since I was standard 6 to reach Birmingham and car pool with my other friends to St Albans in time for the first session at 9.30am. What I did in the car? SLEEP. ALL THE WAY. So we arrived, had our study, and by the end of the day, we check in and to my surprise, everyone gets a room to themselves!

I've never ever ever ever had such a big room to myself so you can imagine how ecstatic I was!

See that air-conditioner? I actually had it on at 20 degree, despite it being quite cold outside, because I miss having air-conditioner. I hid myself well under the thick duvet anyway =)

My friends and I actually went bowling after dinner and it was great fun! She renamed us all to male names, Vincent, Rob, Richie, Peter and me Jack for Jackie Chan. (Lols, was I proud for him!)

It was a fun 1 day night stay but a tiring journey on the road.

Haven't you had that perfect dream of becoming what you want to be in your childhood days? You know, HANDSOME pilot, PRETTY air hostess, TALL AND SLIM model, PLAYS INSTRUMENT (piano) mozart or bach or shumann, NICE VOICE singer, etc etc. The only reason the bold letters are because without those, it doesn't really matters what follows behind.

I had the random-est occupation I actually wrote down when I was seven. Before that, I was the typical kid who wants to be a professional, rich, and looked highly upon doctor in profession. And I had police (I don't even know why, but I think because I can hold baton and hand cuffs). And I had singer (actually my voice isn't that bad, just that it's not singers level). And I had air hostess and model (buey pai seh). Back to the random one, it was postman (How in the world...). Well, I guess I really enjoyed taking letters from the postman when I was little. It's the joy of getting a letter with your name on it! Oh delivering happiness!

However, I'm not far tracked from the list I've got. I'm a training pharmacist (which is a professional job), I have to guard people coming in on drug dependence prescription (which is some sort of a police part-time job), I do sing at home in front of my laptop (Infinite, TVXQ, etc), I do fashion show in my room in front of my long mirror on clothes I bought (modelling lahh for my own pleasure!), and er, I serve myself dinner everyday in my seat (air hostess right!)

So what's your wildest dream? Have you achieved it? Are in you the process of achieving it? Or are you a hundred millions kilometer away from it?

When you can't help but think that you fail miserably, think twice as positively and you'll see you're on the right track.

ps: I'm even excited now whenever I get a letter through the post box for me! Don't underestimate what postman do OK! Postwoman as well!

Through thick and thin, cold and hot, snow or no snow, wind or no wind, rain or no rain, I shall deliver em' letters!

A quarter past 5, Boon (a fellow Malaysia uncle) gave me a text to say there's something on in the church, a radio recording! So happen I was working at the branch near the church today and I got a shock when he actually popped into the pharmacy to say 'Hi!'. Nonetheless, it was a great fun experience except that it was rather random.

What happened was they are recording a pre-recorded radio broadcast on 104 in Worcestershire which would air on the 25th September and being part of it is really awesome!

Then of course there's food! Lols :)

We each had a balloon which we popped at the end and mine reads, "I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love, our fears for today, our worries of tomorrow and even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away. Whether we are high up in the sky or on the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is reveal in Christ Jesus our Lord." ROMANS 8: 38-39

When someone comes to me saying 'If GOD's that great, he wouldn't let us suffer' or 'I can live just as well without believing in anything', etc., all I would say is, if you haven't experience God's work and blessing, you'll never know. And for this to happen, you have to TRUST. And if you're already trusting but nothing happens, then reflect, pray and continue to TRUST.

Because my family has been bless abundantly, I have seen his wonders working through and his faith walks us on everyday. This might be absurd to some of you, but to some others, you'll understand what this means.

I've skipped church for almost a year but going back to church gives me the sense of belonging, the feeling of going home. Like everyone say, "There's no place better than home", this implies a great understanding.

Although I won't label myself as being too religious, there's a part of me who believes there's a God, and that God provides us, shelter us, feed us, walk with us and protect us. May you felt this peace given to you, God bless!

Dark angels and BB Seaweed (Lush)

This post is full of myself but I just have to share the goodness of it!

After my bath,

I grabbed some Dark Angels from Lush which I got for free (It's charcoal and it has this gritty feeling to it)

and gave my face a good wash and scrub.

which results in a cleaner radiant skin!

Then I took out the BB Seaweed I've got,

and smother it all over my face!

The end result - Ooooh-la-la! I'm loving it!

I'm no doubt a big fan of Lush. Maybe just their mask = )

I came here, to Redditch, 6 weeks + ago. I was alone but thankfully, I had Shiun Lei to fetch me all the way from Nottingham to this new place.

Eh you, thanks for everything wei. Why la you go back so fast, stay longer ma.

Friends for 8 years, time does flies. You take care when you're back alright!

I thought I was the lone Asian soul here but I do bump into a few Asian people in town but it was just so random so couldn't even spark a conversation with them. It was just a case of passer by. However, not long after around the third week, I saw a friend of mine who's replying messages on Facebook status that she's in Redditch, 30 minutes away from Birmingham. That sentence seems to magnify a thousand times larger! I quickly sent her a message and the next moment, I was rolling in bed with happiness, knowing that she's here in the same town with me!

We made sushi!

WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE LAH! MY GRADUATION!

Promised parents to have breakfast together in the morning and couldn't get them on the phone until about 10-ish and I have to get back to dress up and make up, etc. (What a start!)

Was the last one to leave the flat and I wasn't at all ready and prepared yet (I learned my lesson)

Parents reached and we adjourned to the venue!

In the hall getting ready to be dressed on! (Sobs, excuse my swollen eye)

Wearing my robe, walking across the stage and getting my certificate was the one moment I've waited for 4 long years, and now, it's over. OVER.

On a cheerful note, we found the perfect gym to go to! Hitting it for the first time this Saturday! It's time to sweat : ) (Not that I want to but I have to since I'm starting to gain some weight!)

And since it's the weekend, a little pampering to my face would be good!

A really good product if you ask. Leave it on to dry and peel off after. This leaves my skin so clean and supple!

Lastly, pray for my Visa approval letter! I hope it comes in the letter box by this week! *fingers crossed*

Part and parcel of life..

Love it or Hate it, there bound to be things that as much and as hard as you try to shake them off, they just stick and cling on to you like a leech (Douche bag!).

However, in my life encyclopedia, there seems to be a proportionate compilation between Love it and Hate it.

I'll be positive and start off with Love it first.

Since young, I was blessed with parents who didn't scold nor 'rotan' (whack) me, and siblings who are a little nuisance to me AT THAT POINT OF TIME because we were all so young. But I love them all and they love me too despite, well you know, every individual has their difference even you're from the same parents!

Then, I grew up and enter school and college and made friends whom I forgot (those in Kindergarden) and those whom I remember dearly (MGS girls, MARA (MRSM Beseri) friends, University College Sedaya International (UCSI)). I'm thankful that I have them on my friends list in Facebook and how sometimes random meet-ups happen (mamak stall, MidValley, etc), sitting around gossiping, play with make-ups, walked pasar malam (nightmarket) and shopping together, trying on clothings together, etc..

Then I've got boyfriends. When there's a start, there's also a finishing line. Be it at the grave or whilst alive. Relationships had taught me to be a cautious person, to give and take, a forgiving person and despite how much you can change for one person, you'll still be who you are, be it rebellious, or stubborn or maybe just that sweet little girl. Also that no matter how elated you are, or how deeply hurt you are, your family is always there for you. Never be 100% sure that everything would last forever, unless well..you are ready to place everything on stake, mentally and physically.

As age creeps up, I went into University. Pfft, that was a pain as well. Had some trouble entering into UCSI, applied for AIMST but they rejected me, entered Cyberjaya University College of Medical Science (CUCMS) and soon got my offer letter from Nottingham. I hesitated for about a week as I've started lessons in CUCMS but eventually, I went to University of Nottingham. It was a wise choice definitely, what more my tutor is the head of Pharmacy department. I am grateful to my dad who had accompanied me for a week in Cyberjaya until I made my decision, giving me advise and moral support to head my future. Staying with my 'family' friends was indeed the best experience in University, and getting to know someone who has taken care of me well throughout this period.

To Qi Hua, Wai Xin, Kar Lai, Mei Kee, Li Ping and Gideon - You guys have been a great part of my life. Staying together, car pooling together, random night outings, wardrobe barter system, gossiping, walking/ driving to class together and cooking together..These would be remember for the rest of my life.

Entertainment wise: HELLO! PARTY is here! Parties are like the YES thing while in University and so I had went to aplenty and I totally enjoyed them. OH HOW I WISH I CAN STILL PARTY AT LEAST ONCE EVERY TWO MONTHS! Halloween, Christmas, Freshers, Chinese New Year, Traffic Light and so many many more! Letting all your worries off just for that one night is totally worth it.

Now, I'm a graduate with a 2:2 MPharm degree, doing my pre-registration year with Knights Pharmacy and hopefully in a year's time, I would be a fully qualified pharmacist! Also, my first pay - KERCHINGSS!

Ending with Hate it.

Thanks to my parents that since they did not scold or 'rotan' I was a toddler, I went all my way out, to the extent that I've even swore (Damn...). Now that I'm a mentally capable to think adult, guilt is killing me as to why, why, why had I said those words and my parents just listened but not do anything. That's how much they love me and how much I regretted for being such an asshole and a spoiled brat. Well, there's nothing to hate about with my siblings because there are bound to be bickering between us.

School's where I've met my network of friends and socialized. There's definitely nothing to hate here! Well, except for some undisputable matter. Hmph, we're all born different right? But still, don't think of yourself too much and do what you think because it might just end up is a mishap.

Relationships....For those who've married your first love, well, congratulations for not having to go through the pain and gain process. Nonetheless, it would be great not to experience such state cause it wouldn't be nice. Being in several relationships, it does make me appreciate future relationships more. I do cherished the moments we had, how tolerate-ful you were, and how sometimes we get along so well. Despite that, no relationships are complete without quarreling, which I didn't like at all. But guess what? This is bound to happen no matter what. Lols! So live with it, get cross at each other for a few moments (don't make it too long!) and patch up in a bit!

Hmph, what do you hate most about studying? One word - EXAMS. Period. Grueling years of studying and projects and posters are some of the definite tasks you'll need to deal with so, what can I say? Get through it, and be done with it. Time did pass by quickly and on my graduation day, I reminisced the process of growing up from a 19 year old to a 23 year old me. From a teen to a lady. From not knowing anything to growing knowledge. It ends sooner than you expect it to be, stay strong and be EXAM-lified!

Now that I'm working, I realized that the responsibility that needs to be shouldered becomes significantly heavier. I'm in charge of what will happen to myself and this means, I need to be more proactive and comes up with ideas to supplement myself. I need to have these drugs names in my head so that everything that's needed is at my fingertip. For this to happen, I'll need to chew down the British National Formulary (BNF) slowly, not swallowing it so that it absorbs well into my system. Keeping up to date is such a pain in the ass! But don't get me wrong, I do enjoy what I'm doing ( :

I wouldn't hate parties! I would jump to one if there is one now! Boozing, dancing, dressing up and enjoying the night with friends is what I totally need now.

In a nutshell
Did I sum it all up nicely? Yeah, so that's my life story pretty much. I truly hope you have more LOVE IT than HATE IT in your diary so to say, because you'll be a happier person nonetheless.

Customers are more vile and bad-ass up at this branch. Having been there for only 2 days, there definitely is a difference between customers at different areas.

Last week, HAT came in with an out of date pack of medication and because there was a queue, HAT was not served yet. We apologized for that casualty but HAT yelled that HAT will bring this matter to the police if we don't give her a new pack. However, HAT has an appointment with the doctor in the surgery opposite and kept talking loudly that there's an appointment and this and that. HAT came back after a while and complained that the appointment was missed but HAT was not back for almost 30 minutes! Matter was solved with the ever so professional pharmacist in charge and hopefully HAT went back home happily!

This week, UGG came in with an owing note and the medication was ready in the collection box. UGG was not very happy because the pharmacist says that they'll call when the owing is made up but because the pharmacist in charge that day was not at that branch when the replacement pharmacist made it up, no phone calls were made and that made UGG really angry. UGG stood at the counter and wanted an apology from the pharmacist so the pharmacist went out and apologized for what's happened.

It was all a communication problem but yeah, lesson learned.

I didn't really know what else there is in Interlaken other than the famous Jungfrau mountain, accredited as World Heritage Site. Because of the cost that ensues, we followed the advise of our hostel receptionist to go up Schilthorn instead. But still, it burnt quite a huge hole in my dad's wallet! Lols..

Took a bus from the train station to another train station, which brought us to Lauterbrunnen. The view on the train was MAGNIFICIENT. Me and my sister went, WOW, LOOK, WOW!

I wouldn't put much hope that it'll come out superb because I was never a great cook (partly because I'm not a kitchen girl, and also partly because I've got someone who can cook better).

However, as much work as it implied, it's really simple. Well, as always, it's just ME. Messing the place.

Of all places I've ever been, this is one of the best - Zurich!

And as per below post, I had almost forgot the chronology of the trip so I'll post it as it is.

1. Rhine Falls
The very place I really want to go! And yes, it was the first place we went after landing in Zurich :)

It cost between 5-10 CHF per person for entrance!

2. Zurichsee boat ride

This is one thing I should mention - get the 9 o'clock ticket (8.20 CHF) which allows you to take all public transport for 24hours because buying a one way trip ticket rips you 8.20 CHF anyway. It's worth to the core. And it's inclusive of this 1 hour boat ride as well! FOC!

3. Another boat ride (I have definitely forget the name)
but you'll come to this harbour when you're on the boat ride above, so ask the captain! But unfortunately, this you have to pay. Fortunately, you pay it for half the price with the 9 0'clock ticket! :)

This is a short trip zurich lake boat ride. Pay more for a comprehensive full/ long zurich boat ride (takes about 4-5 hours?)

It's about 2 hour ride, so it's a great setback for a sitback and relax atmosphere!

With the sun scorching it's anger, I can't help but to imagine myself dipping in the lake as well....

This is NOT an attraction but it attracted me when I was looking outside the bus and saw people sitting down, dipping their feet into the river. I stayed at Kanonengasse and this place is just 1 stop before that.

I also want to experience-lah of course! Fleeezingg cold waterrrrr..with ducks and fishes!

Unlike any other fishes, the fishes here are really one of a kind. Even if you flicked the water, they would just stay still, static near your feet.

I would suggest you to do a walking tour round the old town. It's really walk-able. Feast along the streets with branded names. If not, stroll along the streets and enjoy the walk.

I won't go through every details of my trip (partly because I forgot the chronology of it, but mostly because it's totally, utterly boring -.-). I'll just give you an insight on what to and what not to visit in this CITY OF ROMANCE.

Champs Elysee
All time famous walking street for high-end shopping.

The only thing we bought was from Celio and that's because they have 70% discount!

Who wouldn't have already known Paris very prominent landmark?

This is just breathtaking. We stayed on for almost another hour despite the rain just to see the glittering lights come back on.

This is as much I would've reveal. You'll have to enter yourself to be amazed.

You won't starve to death because there's TONS of food to eat. And there're relatively low priced too!

Stop at St. Mitchel station, and there's everything there, 3 course meal at 9, 12, 19 euros, so might top you up with a small glass of complimentary wine!

That's it really.

We hadn't quite really enjoy our trip but nonetheless, it was one to remember. Might just be the only one.

2nd day of work and I'm so beat. First day was still kinda, easy-peasy, smooth going. 2nd day comes and the atmosphere tightens up, expecting a more determined and somber occupation.

Picked up a few wrong ones, which was corrected later on. Well, there's always a first time right?! I'm just really thankful that my tutor is a humourous and looks seriously at what I'm doing.

"You know the cat with paw, going *like this, like this* (demonstrates)?", "Yes, yes, why?", "What does it mean at all?", --EXPLAINS-- (hopefully it was right!), "I see, it kinda irritates me, with the paw *like this like this*". HAHAHAHHA!!

"You know in the chinese takeaway, they have this beef 'chiangmaio'...what is that?", "HUHHHH? 'chiangmaio'?? *thinks, thinks thinks* "Ahhh, you mean chow mein? That's fried noodle. Beef fried noodle that is."

And laughter burst out. LOLS!

And I still have the strength to cook!

Not one that I'm happy to see but this just means I've finally graduated and I'm almost there...

2nd day of work.

And I'm too tired to cooked or even use the microwave.

I remember grandmother boiling chicken soup every weekend for daddy because he worked so hard and had to bring us naughty children up. Sometimes when we tried to drink some of the soup because daddy let us and because he doted us, grandmother would call out at us to let daddy drink it.

PS - I'm holding back some words which are too sensitive to bear by SOME people just in case they say my dad brought me up wrongly. There are many kinds of influence in this world, just so you know and the word which I mentioned was not taught by my dad. It was with FRIENDS.

Remember when you first attended kindergarten? Were you excited, anxious or totally unhappy about the idea/ thoughts of it?

For me, I couldn't remember. Or maybe I did feel shy. I wasn't quite as talkative when I was a toddler.

When through the store room the other day and guess what I found?

Kid's school bags! I don't remember using any of these bags except for the Yamaha Music School one which I attended when I was small. The top 2 bags should have belong to my sister and the bottom left, my brother.

Despite not quite remembering my childhood pretty much, I believed I had a great time. I went to 3 kindergartens, 2 of which are English and 1 Chinese.

I remember, oh no, I saw, one of my childhood picture where I was on the far right and linked my hand on the shoulder of a Bangladesh boy who wore a turban on his head and another girl, which I've no idea about on the far left.

And then another kindergarten, I have no vivid memories at all. So I"ll just skip that.

And the last one, which was near to my primary school, was a chinese school. It was really wearisome, with most people know how writing chinese (or is it me alone?) is so difficult. Coupled with Chéngyǔ (成语), that makes life more difficult. But nonetheless, it was the only intensive training I've ever had on Chinese language. I remember catching tadpoles using my hands at the drain which had crystal clear water! I had never thought the drain was dirty! Then the tadpoles were placed inside a bottle water and when I played enough, I released them back into the drain =)

And then, I entered Methodist Girls' School (MGS) for my primary school. I had a truce with one of them for a year, but the others were my best friends. I remember buying ice-cream and bubble gums from the aunty who sold them on a cart. Oh pure bliss when you have nothing to worry about! Proud and elated that I've studied hard enough to secure number 1 place in class and number 4 in the whole form, my best achievement so far.

Things gets interesting with years right?

The final day, we stayed at Grand Diamond. Which was far better than Baiyoke Sky. Grand Diamond itself is a shopping mall, a new one, hence, not much in there.

Breakfast! Better than Center Point and Baiyoke Sky.

Went and walked around the third LARGEST shopping center in the world - Central World, which was previously burnt down by the antis in Thailand. Not bad at all =)

Saw some VERY pink event going on. Everything is pink. Be it light pink, darker pink, dark pink, or just PINK itself.

Day 3 Baiyoke Sky and Jatujak

3rd day was off to Jatujak weekend market, which never fails to impress me. So much of things and bends, you'll get lost. If you see something you want, just get it else you'll not be able to find the shop again.

We sat down and have some food..Pad Thai for me!

Then this was the underground station at Jatujak. It was unbelievably empty. Well, I guess more people prefer the warmer outside than air-cond.

Despite the title, the bedroom was relatively smaller than Centre Point, the air-cond wasn't as cold, and most importantly, the is not living creature except us in the room but we have companion from little cockroach in Baiyoke Sky! YIKESSSSS!

I tell you...THIS FEELS LIKE HOME! Er, home as in UK home! Threw snow ball and sledge down the slope!

Was a tad bit early at the venue before the Hollywood Action show start so we cow-boyed and cow-girled a bit at what looks like a..cow-able place. Daddy was the director of all weird actions here.

Oh my fault cuz the pictures are all squeezed up. Had a really fun posing time with the actors! We had the pistols, the bazooka, and awesome people.

Fooling around time. This Nie must be too tired walking that she just sprawled on the bench just like that.

All the games we played! Didn't took picture at the roller coaster and the water-splashing boat! Our all time favourite - BUMPER CAR. For a moment, I thought our era in Genting Highlands was alive.

Ending our day..Thanks to the person behind all these, giving us good memories, good laughter, good rides and good food, DADDY! ♥

I guess not many people know that there is an amusement park in Thailand, but there is! DREAM WORLD! It would not parallels to that in east coast or disneyland whatsoever but it definitely take you a whole day, no, more, if you'll want to finish this whole park leisurely.

For the cheapest booking to Dream World with transport and buffet lunch, head over to Baiyoke Sky hotel where it costs about 800 bath per person.

I paid 1000 bath, thinking it was the cheapest, so, you really should thank me for saving you RM 20.

I haven't got back to Ipoh yet upon my arrival to KL and I've been to Bangkok and Malacca in that period!

Home is near but yet far..

(Despite the fact that I'm already enjoying my time at home now..)

This was outside the window from where I'm sitting. I'm on AirAsia, not Thai Airways.

Pffft...I'm a trough between two peaks.

Hahahaha! And now I'm a peak between two troughs!

Arrived in Bangkok after 2 hours, only to receive the heat wave it presents.

There's nothing much we did on the first day itself except for walking about and shopped a little around Platinum and Pratunam.

Our first night was at our favourite-test hotel - Centre Point at Petchburi (or something similar to it).

The rooms are hugeeeeeee. The air-cond is super cold (which is my necessity). The location at a if-not-much then it's very strategic since it's a mere walking distance or 1-2km to Pratunam and Platinum is just opposite Pratunam.

Next morning, we had our breakfast and set off to.....

Birthday celebration

Yesterday was Mummy's birthday and Daddy had prepared a luxurious one for her! She's not in her right mind up until when we sang her Happy Birthday.

Our conversation were as such:

Mi: Eh, look at these two girls (Me and my sister), make up for what, go down meet daddy's friend only what. Crazy..wear so nice for what!

Jonathon: Wha, you want to meet the Prince of Egypt at the lounge ah?

*whisper to Daddy and Jon to change to long pants*

Jo: Don't la Egypt, maybe Korea one's there leh..

-HAHAHAHHHAHAHA-

Mi: You see me, wear so casual only. Why wear dress leh. So ma fan. Look at me, so simple and casual

Jo: -.- OKOK.

And until the birthday song, she said, "Aiyooo, why you don't tell me earlier. Let me wear like this. Aiyooo..." and I replied, "You see we all wear so nice already, you still confidently say, why wear like this. See me so casual.."

After poster presentation. Phew!

All the hard work, getting it done, formating, discussing, and even printing twice!

I'm just so sick of doing poster. Ahhh..who won't right?

Nonetheless, it was a relief after poster is over.

Next, oral presentation! Which is tomorrow -.-

One final post before I STFU and do my dissertation.

I'm proud to be a Nottingham student and soon to be graduate but this person just did nothing except staining the name of our prestigious University.

All Malaysians are basically under distress, or revoking the new plan proposed by the oh-so-clever-person to have everyone to have a 1 Malaysia e-mail.

Signing up requires a USB device which some person declined to answer the price for and those sending an e-mail to the account needs to pay a maximum of 50cents. Whole story here:

We've already got GMail, Yahoo Mail and Hotmail which is so convenient, no need USB stick to sign up, no charges for sending or receiving e-mail. I really don't know what to make up of this situation.

Who's benefiting from this? Those who propose this. Talk about extra mooshoos.

This is just me personal view, personal opinion.

Lols, indeed haven't use the word 'outing' for quite a while. It was a term used when I was in boarding school. Kind of sad because outings can only be on weekday where we went to church. Ah, miss the porridge much! Haven't got in touch with aunty and uncle who fetched us to church and brought us for a meal after church for a long time! Shall do so if I've the time when I'm back.

No make up, thus no eyebrow. I think someone did mention that only Mona Lisa looks pretty without eyebrow. What to do, not that I don't want also. But I don't tattoo as well cuz I'm afraid I'll end up looking too eye browish, which I might not adapt too. Can end up like Shin Chan? Erm, no thanks.

OK la, my skin kind of improve lately except for 2 zits which just popped up recently.

Good lighting does make one skin looks better! =)

Amsterdam Day 3

Where are we heading toooo?

It was a really hectic morning, coupled with a cold chilly weather.

We booked online for our tour in the morning but the computer system didn't record so they shifted us to noon. We had to push forward the later itinerary to accommodate the time in between until afternoon, which isn't a lot of time at all! The bus start off at around 10.45am, reached the diamond factory, dropped us off and came to pick us up again around 11.30am.

Blah blah blah blah blah blah..We're not even capable to buy a carat so it's really a waste of time.

Then it reached the next destination at around 11.53am and we split into 2 groups, one to Heineken Brewery, another to Van Gogh museum.

(No photos for Van Gogh cause we're in a rush! Bought some souvenirs at the shop and rushed off to catch the metro tram to reach where we are to board the bus at 12.30pm. We had our heads facing the ground as we board the bus for having to make the whole troop wait, and we're behind by 15minutes.)

We then reached the clog factory where they process and carve and paint nice clogs for you to wear. Clogs hanging upside down above for drying process for 2 weeks because woods absorbs moisture!

We walked separately thereafter upon returning to Amsterdam. As in dinner and no dinner. I, of course am on the dinner group!

I don't know who is this but since got statue just take photo lah!

Again, fatigue kicked in after a whole day of walking! Lied down on the bench for a little while.

Why am I not smiling? -.-

Dinner was at Indrapura (Indonesian Restaurant).

This one can classify 5 star restaurant since inside the ambiance already so romantic with dimmed lights, then the order part was OMGoofness. We thought we can order 3 people portions for 5 people since we're all quite full but CANNOT. Everyone must order.

One dish on average costs €20. And like previously, their menu have a should I call it 'meal set'? which has like 10 dishes on it with rice, etc and this will cost about €20+ per person as well.

Unless you have a surplus of money, eat here.

Kuih lapis with sprinkled cinnamon costs €5-6!

Our itinerary was to Keukenhoft to look at the beautiful tulips!

There's an overload of flowers below so if you're not pollen-allergic, indulge! I can't remember the names as there were hundreds, maybe thousands of it which isn't very much worth remembering cause I'm not a flower person!

I was too tired walking and I wanted to lie down but there's sign of 'NO STEPPING ON GRASS' everywhere so the only place I can lie down is on the bench! Ah, blessed with the sun and surrounding ambiance.

Then walked down the street to Anne Frank and was the queue long! So we just took a picture of the signpost!

After pancakes, we walked around town, sat down for coffee, and when night nears, we headed for dinner at an Indonesian restaurant. I forgot the name but should you want to know, I'll search it out.

Starter of prawn crackers and Lempe (not in picture). The peanut sauce is awesome incredible super duper mighty tasty!

We ordered for 4 person and that filled out stomach.

Review: 7.0/10

The food was great, the staff was really polite and the ambience's alright. Location wise, a little far but reachable by metro tram.

You'll see lots of these shops around the Red Light District area. On first look, you have to have your hands on 'em right?

My advice: STOP RIGHT THERE!

Why? It costs €5 for one piece of tart, €5 for a slice of pizza, etc. 1 item costs €5. I ordered a tart, a waffle and a slice of pepperoni pizza and it costs me bloody €15 which don't even fill me 1/2 full.

I would say this is a total scam as they didn't even put up signboards on the price of the food they're selling.

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART!

IF THEY'RE NOT ABLE TO SELL OFF EVERYTHING THE DAY BEFORE, IT STAYS ON THE SAME TRAY FOR GOD KNOWS HOW MANY DAYS.

So, you might be eating a pizza/ tart prepared in the previous 3 days. Talk about freshness..Hmpph.

Please do not fall for the appearance (as I did -.-) because it's not worth your money and most importantly, your health. Wouldn't want to travel having diarrhoea all the way right?

On the train to Amsterdam city. Very much a comfortable and spacious one! Did we sat in 1st class?

The canal just right outside our hotel. Differ much from those in city where you step out and a buzzing road greets you!

Walked to Tomaz, a Dutch cuisine shop which is about 15 minutes away.

Top left - Mashed potato and beef, linguine and some vegetarian food.

Went on for supper with the ever famous Frites with Mayo sauce!

Whoa, that was the best fries I've ever eaten!

Madame Tussaud, Casa Rosso - where you watch live 'stuffs' happening, national monument and the ever most famous Red Light District.

Unless you're there for business, then walk leisurely as you wish.

For an experience to see how it looks like, walk about 1 night and it'll be more than enough.

That mostly ends our 1st day and we headed back to our hotel for a good night rest.

False alarm

I'm not going to change anything regarding my blog which I've mentioned in the previous post to selected readers only. Anyone, YES, ANYONE, can view.

Due to some unresolved problem which arise some time ago, I thought it would be best to only let certain people whom I grant permission to look at my blog but yeah, that's..the past. I'm gonna put that behind and not let anything make me, or even incur to me to do this ever again! FTW of my life, people around me, as well as readers, I shall say, "WTF, my life's story is unprecedented".
