working too hard...

in my case is rather self inflicted. It's December, it's flight ticket home time, it's boxing day, and all the blimey shopping to be done and rents to pay trolls along.

Nevertheless, December has been quite eventful. Have been working almost 3 weeks continuously and I can see why is that not recommended. So Solihull and Manchester this weekend, Birmingham for boxing day and possibly Nottingham later on, and Bicester village finally!

Seems like my ending to 2012 can never be any pompous!

Been to the cinema for Great Expectation which is quite interesting to begin with. Definitely a yes yes movie to watch :) Go on Charles Dicken fans!

The one poem that sticks to my head like a boogey in the nose is Life's Brief Candle by William Shakespeare since it was in our literature in school.


Tomorrow, and tomorrow and tomorrow
Creeps in this petty pace from day to day
To the last syllable of recorded time

Taiwan part 3

3rd night in Taiwan, Bear Resort. 
Was really looking forward to this as daddy, Nie and Ben was saying how nice this place was etc etc..

But it just ended up to be really really bad. And boring. Because it's in a rural area, so there's no shops to walk around at night, nothing nothing!

All I can do to entertain myself..

Is to bear-up with them bears for a picture =.=

They had this event at night for tourists at the resort and we all get to write our well wishes on the lantern :)

Taiwan part 1

Day 1
First stop was TaoYuan

At the High Speed Rail Train station ready for Taipei!


Tour guide gave us a task to capture the front of the train...and we DID it!

First was National Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall ( 国立中正纪念堂)

Then we went up to a hilltop and because I forgot the name of it, I shall just leave it ______.

Cold chicken, mushroom vermicelli and meatballs

Rice served with rib fats and pork



Next was Yehlie Geopark. I was really looking forward to this...
Until it rained so heavy that we had to retreat and didn't get to see the many other :(

Day 2

The night stay was at Na Lu Wan and apparently that's a greeting itself, meaning 'How are you?' and also 'Good bye'..so start with Na Lu Wan, end with Na Lu Wan :)

Some kind of gate which I don't remember what for but significant enough for us to get to the middle of the road to snap a picture :)








Then we adjourned for lunch at a super unbelievably nice place which reminds me of Perlis and Kedah because of the paddy field :D

Went to a farm area which name I've forgotten as well but you could see it on the back because I couldn't translate :P

Then went to a hotspring in the middle of summer which isn't very pleasant so we didn't step foot in!
