I love SALSA and I love myself

I lurrveeeeee SALSA. It's about the swaying, the body and the language. Awesome!

The Rumbaa~, the Mumbaaaa~, the break, the twist and the turn is all the basic you need to hit the floor!

I have a feeling I'm gonna be addicted :D

On the other hand,
(This is totally unrelated but I just came across this...)

Huang Name Meaning and History

Chinese : from an ancient territory called Huang. Perhaps the most famous and revered of the ancient Chinese emperors is Huang Di (2697–2595 bc), considered father of the Chinese people. He is also known as ‘the Yellow Emperor’, since Huang also means ‘yellow’. Surprisingly, though, Huang Di is not credited with being a direct source of the surname. A descendant of his was granted the fief of the territory of Huang, which later served as the surname for certain descendants of the ruling family.

(Hehe, am I not proud of it or what? Well, we keep ourself low-profile)

Nail Art

Went over to YiLin's place and she has Konad!

Since we're talking and chatting and gossiping away, from nothing-to-do, we went.....

and started painting our nails.

This's so much fun. And you see the two little doggie's? I was reluctant to have that printed but they insisted.

Anyway, it does look nice, so, I'll take it in! Well, the biggest picture is of course my favourite one. I simply love the design because it's simple enough yet feminine and abstract. Just what I needed :)
Beautiful ait?

©Debisque® I copyright-ed!

Everyone's wondering what the heck is 'DEBISQUE'.

You wanna know what it means? Right, let me first tell you how it came along. I was signing up and registering for something and bla bla bla...and I came to my profile page, and as usual I needed to type a personal message (which is not necessarily required but well, let's just say I 'necessasarize' it)

And so I typed, ' I'm rather debisque, OK, I don't even know what that means'.
And everyone came bombarding me with 'What does debisque means?', 'Have you figured out what it means now?', etc etc etc..

And weird answer I got back from someone was: -
'Debisque means some immigrants so you had better removed it from your profile'

LAME      -.-      LAME

I googled them up and I couldn't find it's antonym or synonym so where in the world did the fella dug up the significant meaning of debisque as immigrants?

Since no one knows what it means, and I'm the first to came with this, I shall 'dictionarize' it. Debisque means.............

(I don't know YET. But I now copyright it.)

WanQian's Birthday at Frankie&Benny's
(Sometimes, we really need an excuse to eat at such a restaurant, or maybe to even eat out)

Well, for those who don't know, the portion of a serving here is humongous! It's not typical Asian appetite where you ordered a bowl/ plate and you gobble everything down alone. Here, you SHARE. BERKONGSI.

#1 Some fish spaghetti which I don't really like cause, fish isn't my all-time-favourite

#2 Some spicy sauce penne which tastes pretty spicy despite you know, ang moh's don't quite like spicy stuff

#3 Some really really nice fried chicken which tastes like KFC and yorkshire pudding and potatoes!
This IS nice, I like :D

#4 OK, I donno what's this and I forgot who ordered this

#5 Urhm, this's the dessert.

Sticky toffee pancakes - Fresh sliced banana, toffee ice cream and toffee crunch sandwiched between two warm pancakes with lashings of toffee sauce

#6 Fruit platter with a candle stuck on the ice-cream for the birthday girl

#7 I'm sorry I got everything mixed up but I'm seriously lazy to change the order so, I'll just say this's the STARTER. It's fried chicken drummets? And seriously, it's yummilicious!

Sweet chilli wings (chicken wings?) smothered in sweet chilli sauce served with celery sticks and sour cream.

#8 This is one of the STARTER too.
Stuffed mushroom - a large flat mushroom filled with creamy goat's cheese and crispy pancetta, oven baked and served with fresh rocket and balsamic glaze

#9 I forgot the names but, hell, they do taste nice :D

A group picture with everyone in it

And one with the birthday girl

And a meal like that don't even cost me more than 10pounds.

CNY in the club

I've not been to many but I definitely love ULTRA!Gatecrasher. It's seriously a club, and no doubt it is.

Unfortunately, the ambience and what we're celebrating for isn't much that compelling with some lousy to the max beat without continuous rhythm for dancing.

Oh, this was just for the one night! (Blame it on the DJ!) It might or could be good some other nights! Can't wait for 2nd time round :D

Us on the floor

Ahaha, sorry ah kinky lady, macam lar I stranggle you a bit!

And believe it or not! Everyone attended! But suppose it's the first and the last for few of them...

I'm not the shortest here OK! I wore flats and they wore heels!

Weekend out

Nottingham's Eye is here!

Situated right in the centre of Market Square

We has taken picture with Nottingham eye!

And we went savour the food at Yates which offer really really cheap food!

Fairy blue eyes NOT....:(

clubbing was great! :D

I get to wash my eyes millions of times if you get what I mean. HAHAHAHA!

I was pretty frustrated while putting my make-up cause I removed my contacts thrice. Ugh, that's why I never like putting eyeliner what sort. I can't make up with the eyeshadow colour I wanted cause the colours I have are limited and I wanted to do something like this ....

So damn nice this one I'mma gonna try it next time round!

So I damn frustrated cause I don't have enough colour to make this. Then

The aftermath you won't want to know cuz I was just trying to add in and blend in whatever colour I have and...
My goose, dark blue eyeliner saved me. Eyeliner saved me. Trouble-free. Next time I don't want put eyeshadow already.

Formality vs Cold

For practical and dispensing classes, we had to dress up professionally. As in we're in the real pharmacy dispensary and stuff.

Look of the day

Good evening, my name's Josephine. I'm the pharmacist in charge here. Is there anything I can help you with?

Ceh ceh, practice makes perfect OK :D

(Despite it being quite windy outside, it's not that bad on my legs. I nearly cracked up laughing when I saw a girl totally covered up from head to toe while I'm wearing like this)

I must be crazy, must be out of my mind.

OK got to go sleep. Lab tomorrow whole day. Siao.

'Tuen yuen fan' aka Reunion dinner

Chinese New Year Eve night @ Pink Wing

Bing, Jojo, Clementine, SherLeen, Michele

Steamed fish! You know how bloody hard is it to get a whole fish like this in UK?

Super big 'kiam' meatball. SALLLTEE!!

Garlic Prawn if I'm not mistaken. Not bad but still..not the best

Super 'kiam' salted chicken like really really salty! I think salt to them is pretty cheap.

And..haha!! This's their YeeSang. Raw salmon and donno what meat. Well, it has it's own feel to it compared to the traditional we have back home. I'd say, "Not bad!"

There's also soup which I suppose is the cheapest dish here cuz they keep refilling the bowl for us non-stop.

Was that already 8 dishes? NO. There was 8. I forgot what else there is.
Also there was a big bowl of rice.
