Spain - Barcelona & Madrid

BARCELONA

On the way to Parc Guell. How many bloody steps there is. Lucky enough there is escalator!

WHY is everyone grabbing a spot to take a picture here?! I'll follow the flow.

Sagrada Familia

No commento cause I didn't went in but it looks impressive enough, even on the outside.

Casa Batllo

Casa Mila

Magic fountain of Montjuic
(We hadn't know the time the lights and music would go on hence missed it)

To make up for the disappointment, daddy bought me and Nie ticket to the ride! Oh my hair..

MADRID

Nie: *Yawns*
Mummy: Pftt..
Jojo: *Attempt to cover eye*
Daddy: * Paparazzi-ing*

The most F***ed up thing is the tourist information centre isn't open all summer. We gave the WTF look upon hearing that.

Lucky enough, the hostal receptionist gave us directions for places of interest.

Don't remember the name but there's quite a lot of foods in here. From paella to yoghurt to tapas to sangria to water to cookies to candies to macaroons to etc etc.

Of course, Real Madrid stadium. Just the outside. LOLS!

And the station you should alight to get there!

The most awaited trip - back to Nottingham : )

YIPPEES!

As they say...

Customers are more vile and bad-ass up at this branch. Having been there for only 2 days, there definitely is a difference between customers at different areas.

Last week, HAT came in with an out of date pack of medication and because there was a queue, HAT was not served yet. We apologized for that casualty but HAT yelled that HAT will bring this matter to the police if we don't give her a new pack. However, HAT has an appointment with the doctor in the surgery opposite and kept talking loudly that there's an appointment and this and that. HAT came back after a while and complained that the appointment was missed but HAT was not back for almost 30 minutes! Matter was solved with the ever so professional pharmacist in charge and hopefully HAT went back home happily!

This week, UGG came in with an owing note and the medication was ready in the collection box. UGG was not very happy because the pharmacist says that they'll call when the owing is made up but because the pharmacist in charge that day was not at that branch when the replacement pharmacist made it up, no phone calls were made and that made UGG really angry. UGG stood at the counter and wanted an apology from the pharmacist so the pharmacist went out and apologized for what's happened.

It was all a communication problem but yeah, lesson learned.

I'm liking my job  ( =

Recent update...

Went church today and had retail therapy with Linda : )
GOD knows how elated I was when I first knew Linda was in Redditch as well!

My new red top and blazer from NeuLook.

And another dress from Miss Selfridge. Debenhams is having buy one get 2nd free!

On another note, my footwear are increasing by day and not a good choice to just leave it outside my door. Hence, a DIY shoe rack!

Now my shoes have proper place to stay!

Interlaken

I didn't really know what else there is in Interlaken other than the famous Jungfrau mountain, accredited as World Heritage Site. Because of the cost that ensues, we followed the advise of our hostel receptionist to go up Schilthorn instead. But still, it burnt quite a huge hole in my dad's wallet! Lols..

Took a bus from the train station to another train station, which brought us to Lauterbrunnen. The view on the train was MAGNIFICIENT. Me and my sister went, WOW, LOOK, WOW!

Guess who's behind? Helicopter and Jungfrau as a background!

Little moo moo on the loose!

It's the freshest water you can ever get on earth. Drink and be healthy =)

My little red bench =P

Continue to tale a cable car up again to Birg and lastly, Schilthorn.

It was about +9 Celcius but it was very windy so it was very COLLDDDDD~

My dad is superman. He said not cold and I went speechless -.-

Took the cable car down to the other side where the village is.

And to visit Trummelbackfalle!

Sunny and warm outside <3

S**T! Si beh cold inside here! Glacier water, almost 0 degree celcius running through the mountain!

This is called the cockscrew fall!

Interlaken West

Walked and hang around the town area the next day. And I has a swollen eye =(

Interlaken was a nice, quiet and peaceful place. It's definitely worth a visit!

What I had for dinner...

Attempted Bibimbap (Korean mixed rice)

I wouldn't put much hope that it'll come out superb because I was never a great cook (partly because I'm not a kitchen girl, and also partly because I've got someone who can cook better).

However, as much work as it implied, it's really simple. Well, as always, it's just ME. Messing the place.

The food now....

WAS SPLENDID.
(Sorry for being too straight forward BUT YES IT IS OBVIOUSLY (EYES CHECK!) DELICIOUZS!)

3 side dishes - bean sprouts, carrots, beef & egg of course!

Red pepper sauce (Gochujang)

After mixing in the sauce, the perfect masterpiece was edible, lookable and likeable.

If I'm not a good cook and this tastes nice, I'm allowed to up my rank a little don't I? =)

A full tummy makes everyone happy.

XOXO
