WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE LAH! MY GRADUATION!
Promised parents to have breakfast together in the morning and couldn't get them on the phone until about 10-ish and I have to get back to dress up and make up, etc. (What a start!)
Was the last one to leave the flat and I wasn't at all ready and prepared yet (I learned my lesson)
Parents reached and we adjourned to the venue!
In the hall getting ready to be dressed on! (Sobs, excuse my swollen eye)
Wearing my robe, walking across the stage and getting my certificate was the one moment I've waited for 4 long years, and now, it's over. OVER.
Dedications
Daddy, you've been a great support and role model in my upbringing and I thank you so very much for that. Without your morale and financial support, I wouldn't be where I am, what I am and how I am today. I can't thank you enough for what you've done and given me. As you always said, "Always aim sky high, even when you hit the tree top, it's better than ground zero". For the crazy times, laughing times, swimming times and all of the times in my 23 years of life,
THIS IS FOR YOU, TELLING YOU HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU!
May the Lord God bless you abundantly always, now and forever.
Mummy, you're always keeping check on me especially on how much vitamins I've left! You're always the worrying one, on how I'm doing, can I cope or not, do I eat well or not, do I have enough money or not...all of your 'or not's'. You never know how much that left an impression on me, knowing that someone would always keep check of me that I'll be in the best of health and well-being. Also comforting me on issues that I normally wouldn't discuss with others because you have the experience and your advise means so much to me. For the times you quarrel with me, for the times you stood by me, for the times you stuff vitamins to me,
THIS IS FOR YOU, TELLING YOU HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU!
The Lord bless you and keep you, and be gracious unto you.
Sister (Nie), you've always been a sweetheart for all I could remember. You're always a great companion in many ways! Shopping, chatting, gossiping, doing our hair, putting on make-up, you name it, we've done it. Sisterly love, we call it. You have always keep me in check in my religious and spiritual life, looking at your facebook status gives me the courage to continue believing despite difficult circumstances. I don't recall the times we're small but I know I have bullied you a lot! Oh good times right? Without that, we wouldn't be what we are, how we are now. Looking at the big grown up you, you always have this soft baby side of you, being the youngest. For the times you're a pain in my ass, for the times you've given me encouragement, for the times we had sisterly chatting sessions,
THIS IS FOR YOU, REMINDING YOU TO CONTINUE TO BE THE BIG BABY OF THE FAMILY!
May the Lord bless you and take care of you; May the Lord be kind and gracious to you, May the Lord look on you with favour and give you peace.
Brother (Ben), it's a shame you couldn't come but we know you're near. You're the strong headed guy, taking traits from grandpa and daddy. Looking at how much you've grown up, you improving as a person and taking up responsibilities which you wouldn't last time. Seeing you taking charge of situation gives me the security that you can protect the family from come what may. You're always the one supporting me, giving me the sense of being the younger one but when reality strikes, I know I have to protect you in return. Despite being the tough guy you are outside, we know the soft side within you. With me being far away, I shall pass the baton to you to look after the family and that said, I know you will without needing me to say it. For the times you cracked me up, for the times you protected me, for the times you are my younger brother,
THIS IS FOR YOU, TELLING YOU HOW MUCH YOU'RE BECOMING A YOUNG FINE MAN FROM THE LITTLE BROTHER I KNEW!
May you be made strong with all the strength which comes from his glorious power, so that you may be able to endure everything with patience. And with joy give thanks to the Father, who has made you fit to have your share of what God reserved for his people in the kingdom of light.
Daddy, Me and Mummy
